Feedback

As mentioned in our meeting (and in the interest of continuous assessment), we would like your feedback on the progress and functioning of the QEP Steering Committee. Please feel free to remain anonymous and to be honest. You are volunteering your time, and we want to ensure that we are doing whatever it takes to make this process work best for everyone. We respect your opinions... so please comment on anything related to the Steering Committee or Co-Directors or pose any questions that you might have. If appropriate, the Co-Directors will respond here.

Thanks!

  1. The passion to lead this committee is there along with a well-rounded knowledge of what needs to be done. Keep up the good work and keep the suttle pressure on.

  2. I came to Shaw University in 2000 as Dean of the Divinity School. At that time, I noticed a need for improvement in Oral and Written Expression in our students. I also noticed a need for improvement in Critical Thinking. While we have made great strides in these two areas, I believe they remain as the best potential areas of improvement to enhance student learning at Shaw Univeristy Divinity School.

  3. QEP folks,

Since I had spoken with Dr. Greenfield this summer, I felt like I had contributed what ideas I had and hadn't been here or to the www.shawu.edu/qep site.

Now under Dr. Grady's prompting, my attempt to go to the site gets me a "The website declined to show this webpage" error. This would be a good explanation for why people aren't using the site. As you probably know, most people who get such an error assume the site works fine and that they did something wrong, or that if it doesn't work then there's no need for them to do anything.

I won't try to turn this into a pitch for making information literacy the QEP; I'll just mention my temptation to do so.... : )

I hope I'm not doing something silly in trying to make this work, it certainly happens to everyone.

    TC
